Last year we had a number of students interested in attending the Winter Jam Concert in Des Moines and we would love to take a group of students again this year! The concert is next Friday, January 27 at Wells Fargo Arena. Doors open for the Pre-Jam party at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m. The cost is $10 per child and there are concessions. We will need to get there early for good seats (I’ve heard by maybe 5 p.m.) so please send money for concessions as that could end up being dinner! Don’t forget so sign up for the Parent’s Night Out event on Feb. 11 from 5-8 p.m. The event is open to babies-through sixth grade. Our junior high and high school kids are welcome to attend as volunteers as we’ll need help keeping everyone entertained! We provide dinner, dancing, activities, games and a movie in the sanctuary for only $5 per child! The event is already halfway to capacity so PLEASE sign up ASAP if you want your child to attend.
