This is a partial list of the missions and ministry partners that St. Paul Lutheran Church supports.
ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America): St. Paul is an ELCA member congregation, and is part of the Southeast Iowa Synod (based in Iowa City, Iowa).
ELCA World Hunger is an ongoing division of the ELCA that words to eradicate world hunger. Our congregation supports these efforts with frequent financial contributions.
Riverside Lutheran Bible Camp: Many of our students attend this Bible camp each summer in Story City, and several of our students have also become counselors. Our Trust Fund at St. Paul will pay for half of our students’ camp fees if they attend.
CRISP (Community Resources In Service To People) is a local assistance organization that provides resources and referrals to families with children. Pastor Joel Nau is a member of the CRISP board.

LSI – Lutheran Services in Iowa
Matura Multi-Purpose Center is another community resource that offers a food bank and other assistance to individuals and families in need. St. Paul supports the Multi-Purpose Center with a monthly donation of non-perishable grocery items and frequent donations from the Trust Fund.
Hearts In Motion is an international assistance organization that provides labor and resources to Guatemala. Members of the St. Paul congregation have traveled annually to Guatemala with Hearts in Motion for many years.
Church World Service sponsors the CROP Walk each year, and St. Paul participates in competition with other area churches each year to raise funds to end hunger locally and globally.
Meals from the Heartland packages meals to feed starving people around the world, and St. Paul sends a team annually to a meal packaging event in Des Moines.
