Devotions from God Pause: For the third time this week, our reading proclaims the exclusive claim that God has upon our lives and upon our world. “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” (v. 13) It is far too easy to say that Jesus is the beginning and the end of our lives. It is a much different thing to live out the reality of those words. God has given us work to do. (v 12) I am a great fan of my church denomination, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America’s theme vision: “God’s work. Our hands.” These simple phrases remind us that God works in this world through means. Our greatest blessing is to be one of those means.

Family Camp Location Change for Sunday.  Due to the possibility of inclement weather, including thunderstorms, we have moved our location for Sunday from Criss Cove to Pammel Park Lodge. We will still have many activities outside, but have the benefit of the Ford for water play and a playground. There is a paved path to the restrooms. Another plus is that there is electricity in the Lodge so if you really wanted to bring a hot dish, that would be great. Our only regret is that we will not have the kayaks for you to try, but who knows?! Another outdoor adventure may be calling us! If you were planning on coming, please still do so! Bring your fishing gear as there are multiple places to fish along the river banks.

Family Camp Evenings of June 8-10th.  Family Camp, June 8 – 11, is fast approaching. Whether your family consists of you and your children, you and your grandchildren, or just you- you are welcome to join in the fun! Games, nature hikes, kayaking, arts and crafts, music, skits, obstacle courses, the list goes on.
Please let us know you are coming by using the barcode below or by letting Amanda Turnquist know.
We are so excited to share three evenings of fun with you!
