Friday, October 8 Announcements

Come worship with us at 9:30. Join us in person this Covered Bridge Sunday, or watch our livestream Sunday morning on our YouTube channel, or view the service on the YouTube channel on MondayPastor Ioan will be delivering the message based on Mark 10:17-31. Here is a devotion based on that text: I have set up a small wood working shop. I have some of my dad’s old hand tools—saw, hammer, drill. One day, I decided I needed a wood cutting router. A router cuts various shapes into wood. Through a lot of trial and a whole lot of error, I am getting the hang of making signs in a soft wood like pine. I made a small road sign with our last name on it, brushed on a little varnish, and fastened it to a post at the end of the driveway. I also made a sign for my son and family that says “Merry Christmas.” Following a trip to Costa Rica, I made a sign that says “Pura Vida”—meaning good health. The sign that stands out for me the most is one I keep next to my reading chair. Sometimes it makes me uncomfortable. But still I’m glad I see it every day. It reads “Feed, Clothe, Visit.”Worship Helpers. Greeters/Ushers: Kendrick Blanchard and Dale Wulf; Reader: Savannah Charlet; Sound: Jacque Mohs; Videographer: Alan Paup; Musician: Lori Paup; Singer: Lori Paup; Counters: Wayne Martens and Lisa Vossekuil; Communion Bread: Ruthanne Korte; Communion Servers: 2 needed. Office Manager Joins St. Paul Staff. Traci Davis has joined the St. Paul staff as our office manager.
